AM: 9 miles easy/moderate, hill sprints
PM: 4 miles easy
After a feeling-pretty-good run in the morning, I got in a shake-out run with Valerie in the sweat suit.
VH and I finalized our drive back east to North Carolina, which begins in earnest on Monday; we're not sure when we're going to have the opportunity to make another cross country road trip, so I'm trying to take advantage of it. On the running front, it may be somewhat of a down week, though we're giving ourselves more time than on the way out. We're making a side trip up to Big Sur and to Santa Barbara to see high school XC teammate Mitch this weekend before then.
Day 1: Irvine to St. George, UT
Day 2: Day in St. George and Zion National Park
Day 3: St. George to Boulder
Day 4: Day in Boulder
Day 5: Boulder to Tulsa, OK
Day 6: Get the f*** out of Tulsa, drive to Atlanta
Day 7: Day in Atlanta
Day 8: Atlanta to Durham
I'm thrilled to get back.
