AM: 12 miles easy
Taking advantage of a class-free morning, Reed and I drove out to Umstead. Damn, is it pretty there this time of year.
We made the out-and-back from the parking lot to the lake and back, rolling along smoothly on the park's gravel roads before finishing up with drills. Compared to what I'm used to on the weekends there, we didn't really see anyone, save for one guy who looked like the Unabomber and hissed at us when we nodded hello.
