AM/PM: 22+ miles easy/moderate
I worked from home today, so after getting up earlier to get some things done, I headed out. I kept it simple, running the zoo loop and finishing the rest of the run as an out-and-back on the Capital Crescent. I didn't push too much and was comfortably down toward 6:15 by the end. Since this was just long and steady, I also didn't take any Gatorade, gels, etc. I didn't take any water, either, not that I needed it as it rained off an on the entire time.
The entire run was around 2:30 even, though I lost about 10 minutes in there somewhere playing with my watch.
Definitely felt a million times stronger today than the last two days. The next two days will be more organic/exploratory running while Valerie and I go camping. Later next week, I'll chase a 5k PR in Atlanta when I'm there for a conference for work.
